Candy Flip, Brew Style

The other night was band night and my turn to buy beer since the Tattooed, Pirate Poet had to drive the 20 minutes up to the sub-herbs. I bought some German beer with a woman on it -- since we're headed to Germany and there are women there -- and I bought some Java porter as well. This makes for some really good band night beer, since staying altert and awake is key, but now I just want to go to bed. Not only is porter a slow sipping beer, but it also has freakin' coffee, which will keep me awake until my 6am wakeup call.

I just found that picture at this ultra snobby beer rating site. I didn't read anything about it, but I noticed the feel rating. WTF? That make Hamms draft the #1 feeling beer in the world because of their multigon can that has no round edges to it,

ipod

OK, so I finally got an ipod. -- the 160 gig one to hold all my music. It is probably the single best purchase I have made in many years. I am listening to music again. I am excited by music and I am searching for new music. It's been a while since I've been this thrilled. IPODS for all!

Music Review: Cameran

The album "A Caesarean" is an interesting album. I initially labeled it as Sparta, but standable. When I listened to it a second time, I was hooked.

It's not like what is on this album hasn't been done before. It's poppy, smooth etc, but there does seem to be a twist involved. There's a little bit of a funk to it -- kinda like a hint of Rage Against the Machine.

Interesting, I found someone describe them as At The Drive In after I wrote this. I guess the Sparta comment stands, since At The Drive In is a much more listenable version of Sparta.

waiting on the delta

Another day until practice. It is gonna be great. I just bought a Delta 66 for recording, but have to wait a while until it is shipped to me. Hopefully, Mr Lee will let us borrow his Delta 66 and we can have 8 tracks.

I've been listening to the Cows "Old Gold" all day. What a great album!
